Intergroup Overview & By-Laws

Dear Member,

Orange County Intergroup is an A.A. service entity that involves partnership among A.A. groups in our community. Intergroup carries out functions common to all the groups. It is financed and supervised with local group representation and exists to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the A.A. message to the alcoholic who still suffers.

Within the body of Intergroup, you will find Group Representatives, individual Chairpersons and Officers responsible for Intergroup’s various committees or functions, such as Phone Service, Bookers, Institutions/Corrections, Meeting List, Public Information, Share-a-Day, Orange Aid, Archives, Website. If your group currently has no Intergroup Representative, please consider bringing this information to your group so it can consider electing a Representative.

Intergroup hybrid meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm

Your group can elect separate representatives to help execute 12 step work in each area.


All funding for Intergroup comes from local A.A. groups that voluntarily
contribute funds to carry out this 12th step work.
